DESCRIPTION:
- Provide specialist plant hire and skilled operators to undertake the instream repair and rehabilitation of the severely eroded Goolang Creek
- Clearing of debris from landscape
- Providing environmental flow bypass
- Recovery of deposited sediments (approximately 3000m3)
- Reconstruction of a rock lined stream with rock pools
- Re-creation of the associated white water canoe course
The Project was completed in an environmentally sensitive environment and was featured as a finalist in the NSW CCF 2014 Earth Awards for Excellence in Civil Construction.
